Update regarding Covid-19 and TSOA Vic. Inc.
Firstly, I hope you are all keeping well and looking after yourselves as best as one can during these unprecedented times.
Due to the Stage 3 restrictions being implemented on the 8th July for the next 6 weeks by the Victorian Government and the restrictions on movement outside your place of residence, the club must maintain our shutdown too.
The club management committee met on Tuesday 7th [ via Zoom ] to discuss these restrictions and have decided to cancel any planned gathering within this time frame, that is, General Meeting, Coffee mornings and EMRs as well as the up-and-coming All Triumph Challenge at Winton in August.
All though these activity’s have been cancelled or deferred, lots of planning is taking place to ensure we as a club are ready, when restrictions are eased and we are allowed to get out and about to meet up with our fellow members, to resume all things Triumph. So keep your pride and joy ready to go social distancing.
Just a reminder to those whom have vehicles on the Club Permit Scheme: You still need to keep your membership up to date and current from the 1st July, which is the beginning of the club financial year and new membership year. To be eligible for the Club Permit Scheme you must be a fully paid up member. We are legally required to advise VicRoadfs of those members who are no longer financial. Details of how to pay are on the website and you will all have had an email with those details.
The 60th Celebration Dinner is planned for the 21st November at the Mercure Ballarat and if you have not already booked for the dinner, please do so as we will be close bookings in the near future (see the TSOA website). And don’t forget to book your accommodation at the Mercure as well.
In conclusion stay safe and practice social distancing so that we can all survive this nasty little bug.
