Presidents Report April 2021
I hope everyone enjoyed a well-deserved Easter Break with family and friends with some perfect weather for top-down motoring.
As I write this report restrictions have been eased to such a point that we have new found freedom to move about the community and club activity is slowly returning to pre-covid days but with the added responsibility of being aware that things could go pear shape if we don’t adhere to Covid-19 protocol’s, such as booking for all meetings and functions, bookings are processed through the website and I believe some of the members have had difficulty if you encounter a problem please email firstname.lastname@example.org and explain your problem.
April 24th will see the 60th dinner being held at the Mercure Ballarat if you haven’t booked it is now to late as we will notify the caters in early April the numbers attending and any dietary requirements, the 60 years of TSOA Vic the book will be launched at the dinner and will be available from that date so keep an eye on the website for details regarding how to order and pay for what I believe will be a very sort after book of some 310 pages don’t delay incase you miss out.
We have had a few problems with the venues for the morning coffee on the last Wednesday of the month, not allowing or not taking bookings so stay tuned and up to date by visiting the website events for the current venue and situation.
Some exciting and innovative functions are being planned and will establish TSOA Vic at the forefront of car club activity and your support will be needed to make them a success.
The SPITFIRE project in combination with TR clinic/workshop is scheduled periodically so read the e-blasts as they are broadcast and come and join us.
Yours Triumphantly Roger Jeary
